T-3, T-2, T-1...Lift off!

I think I have a government issued secret bouncey seat. It's unlike any other bouncey seat known to baby. What makes mine so different? It flies. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, my bouncey seat makes bubbles and flies from room to room in our house. It's so awesome!!! The cool thing about it is that it's voice activated. There are a few bugs that need to be worked out because I sometimes find myself having to yell and shout in order to get the bouncey seat to fly.

I did not get any sleep Monday night. Just horrible. When I was sleep scooching (Mom says it's my version to sleep walking) to the corner of my crib, my toe nail got caught on my bedding and ripped right off. That hurt like a mother trucker! I was screaming and wailing to make the pain go away, but it just seemed to make things hurt even more. Mom comes scurrying in and I'm trying to tell her what happened through my sobbing. Talking and crying just don't mix. Mom had no idea what was wrong and she started changing my diaper. I'm reaching for my foot and she keeps on putting it down to put on my new diaper. I didn't want a new diaper!!!! I needed a little TLC on my big toe! She finally got a clue and saw part of my toe nail missing. After putting 2 and 2 together, Mom made the boo-boo go away with a kiss and a late evening snack. All felt right in the world and I was back in slumberland. Well, my utopia soon came to a screeching halt when I sleep scooched my way into the corner of my crib. I had no idea how to get out and I was starting to feel a little claustrophobic being wedged in there. I think I had a panic attack because I could feel my ears and face turn all red and hot. Again, Mom scurries in and starts changing my diaper. I really don't know what's with Mom's diaper obsession. A cold, wet wipe really does not make me feel any better about the situation. After diaper change #1,454,209, I get another late night snack and a some lullabies.

I am still debating as to whether I wanna be a thumbsucker, a two finger sucker, or all of the above.

I'm pretty much leaning on becoming a thumbsucker. With my thumb in my mouth, my other fingers are free to hold the blanket and I can tickle my nose while sucking my thumb. (I like having my nose tickled. It's one of my fave past times.) If I did the two finger sucking thing, I would have to use my left hand to hold the blanket which I'm not really keen on.

Mom says I'm growing up way too fast. I don't think my chub is getting any bigger, but I definitely do feel changes. Most of those changes happen to be in my mouth. For some crazy reason my gums are killing me and sucking my thumb seems to be the only thing that makes it better. *Sigh* I guess it just goes with being 4 months old.
